Endoca CBD Oil Review:
My Experience Using Endoca CBD

Written by: Taylor Walker | Updated: December 21st 2018

With all the buzz surrounding CBD, it was only a matter of time before I myself got involved in trying it firsthand.

I've smoked a lot of ganja in my day, and now that there's tons of dispensaries in my area that actually disclose the cannabinoid profiles of their products, I've gravitated towards trying out nearly every single ratio of THC to CBD in bud. I'm a man of science, you see.

But it took CBD gaining ground in as a stand alone product in the market at large for me to consider trying the drops themselves, I was always skeptical of just how much benefit I'd get from a supposedly non psychoactive compound.

The next logical step was to pick up a bottle of some reputable CBD drops and see for myself what all the fuss is about.

Here's my Endoca review for your viewing pleasure:

Endoca CBD Oil

What drew me to Endoca CBD Oil is how transparent they are in their manufacturing process.

Endoca CBD Oil is made from hemp plants grown in Scandinavia, which means that there's no risks of getting stoned whatsoever since hemp plants contain no more than 0.3% THC by weight, making it very easy to ensure none of it makes it's way into the final product.

Endoca also uses supercritical CO2 as their extraction method. This is appealing because other extraction methods use butane or other harmful solvents that then have to be purged off properly or else you risk having unsafe contaminants in the end product. If I was going to test CBD for myself, I wasn't going to risk getting sick with contaminated products.

A secondary benefit of CO2 extraction is that it doesn't destroy terpenes and other minor cannabinoids like some of the rougher extraction methods, so I was able to take advantage of the "entourage effect" that isn't present in other CBD products.

What I Bought

I decided to go big with my purchase and bought the 1500mg bottle of hemp oil drops. It cost me something around $135 but the shipping was free and I used a coupon code to save some extra scratch (using coupon code "IMARIJUANIT" for an extra 10% off).

There's also a 300mg bottle for much cheaper but the last thing I wanted was to have more questions than answers because I didn't have enough to properly do all my testing. The 300mg bottle is only 3% CBD, while the bottle I bought has 15%.

The first thing I noticed is that right on the front of the package it informs you that the product has been decarboxylated, which is just the scientific term meaning that CBDa (the form CBD is in directly from the hemp plant) was converted to useful CBD by way of heating the mixture at some point during the manufacturing process. It's the same process necessary to make edibles work, so it just makes sense to show up in the CBD oil as well.

Awesome, I thought, they're not playing around.

Each drop contains 5mg of the active ingredient and there's 300 drops per bottle.

Something I wasn't expecting was that there's omega-3's and 6's as well as some Vitamin E kicking around in here too, there's this handy chart as to what's in a single drop right on the website that I thought was pretty cool.

Does each drop actually contain all of these things?

I'm not entirely sure, but I made sure to give my bottle a good shake before using it to make sure everything was in proportion every time I used it. Their products are lab tested by third party labs and they're in good standing with third party trust organizations, so there's no red flags there at least.

My Experience

So now it came time to test this stuff out. The effects I was seeking most was increased relaxation/anxiety reduction (I can get socially anxious sometimes) and if it made my old football injuries a bit less noticeable on the daily, I'd definitely prefer CBD to the liver destroying acetaminophen I'm all too familiar with.

Just exactly how much was I going to take? A dropper full? Four?

Their website suggests starting at 1 drop 3 times a day and slowly moving up in doses until the desired effects are achieved. They recommended waiting a week before adding another drop to the dosing schedule, but I opted instead to just wait 3 because I didn't want to be all out by the time I found my sweet spot.

The Doses I Tried

First 3 Days: 5mg x 3 Times Per Day

Time to get cracking. Endoca, work your magic!

I put a drop underneath my tongue and kept it there for about 30 seconds before I had to swallow, the taste isn't very appealing. It's a very herbal taste, the easiest comparison to make would probably be how saliva tastes after chewing on some stems. I'm not here for the taste though and I just chugged some water to rinse out any lingering hemp notes.

I would do this three times a day.

Nothing much, maybe some light tingles in my extremities that could very easily be ascribed to the placebo effect. This was the case for the entire three days. I'll admit I was a bit worried at this point due to perceived lack of effects, but this is the absolute smallest dose possible, so I kept that in mind moving forward.

Day 4-6: 10mg x 3 Times Per Day

Now I'm up to two drops a day and the taste is starting to grow on me. I still wouldn't buy hemp-flavored candies, but at least I can go without gargling water each and every time.

After the second drop of the day I'd start to feel slightly more relaxed and clear-headed than normal. This relaxation did translate into my shoulder feeling a bit better, but I wouldn't really call it a pain-killing effect. However, I'm really starting to dig this stuff.

By the third drop of the day in the evening I began to notice it was easier for me to structure my thoughts in a more coherent manner. Weird, but not unwelcome.

Day 7-9: 15mg x 3 Times Per Day

After starting to see effects at 10mg per dose, I was certain 15mg would be absolutely fantastic for me, I was more than eager and at this point I think my positive mental associations translated into me having fully acquired the taste of CBD oil.

Three drops now, it's starting to actually be a fair bit of liquid. I'd have my first drops of the day with my morning coffee, sometimes in my morning coffee just to be a little cavalier about it. Twenty minutes later I'd be ready to go about my day with passion and zeal. It synergizes great with coffee in my opinion.

The other drops during the day didn't make the effects any more profound, but they prolonged them enough for me to feel the benefits from dawn until dusk. If 15mg does this, what's 20mg going to be like?

Day 10-12: 20mg x 3 Times Per Day

I decided now to take two of my dropper fulls sublingually and the other two mixed in with either water or coffee, but sometimes I'd do all four sublingually but just swallow the latter two earlier than I would the first two if they weren't around.

During the beginning of the day I'd get the same benefits I got at 3 dropper fulls (15mg) so I was very, very eager.

I noticed now with 20mg though that I'd start to get more tired as the day went on, and my perceived cognitive boost would kind of level off and start dropping sometime around seven.

By my last drop of the night, I'd be pretty drowsy and not really want to get up to much. If I was still an insomniac I wouldn't mind, but it was hampering my productivity.

Because of this, I decided to stick to 15mg three times a day, 20mg was over the line.

My Takeaway

At 15mg, I had noticeable effects on my level of relaxation and my train of thought. I was able to more clearly structure my day and I didn't worry so much about the little things. I wouldn't ascribe it entirely to the CBD oil, as I am typically a very driven person, but I felt like the Endoca Hemp Oil functioned to make a mental environment way more conducive to how I like to operate.

As far as my shoulder pain, it was improved by a factor of probably about 25%, I'd say due to anti-inflammatory effects as opposed to direct pain modulating. My range of motion was improved enough for me to notice it, I was pretty satisfied, but it's not super in-your-face about it.

Once I was done all my testing I had about 210 drops left which at my preferred dose of 15mg three times a day was enough to last me 23 days. So I got about a month's use from a full bottle.

It's not snake oil, that's for sure. It certainly did have a positive effect and I'll be continuing to experiment with CBD in general to try and maximize it's therapeutic potential. I also felt groggy when I took too much of it, so there's no doubt in my mind there are effects to be had, positive or negative. Sometimes I'd take a drop after smoking a lot of THC-laden strains, I felt like it made the highs more enjoyable.

In closing, once you find the right dose, this stuff can make a noticeable difference.
