The Top 5 Best Wax Vape Pens

The Top 5 Best Wax Vape Pens

A man and his vape pen typically become inseparable once the right match is found. Much like in Harry Potter, picking the right vape pen is like picking the right wand. Wax pens tend to be less failure prone than dry-herb vaporizers, but as always you get what you pay for.

The small stature of wax pens presents two main criteria a good vape pen has to satisfy. The first of which is battery life.

The compactness of vape pens means compromises have to be made in battery life as well as power, so high tech batteries are a must.

The final attribute to be judged is how well constructed the chamber is. There's limited space for rods & coils inside a small cylindrical space, which directly translates into overall chamber size and coil limitations.

My Top 5 Picks

So, who's managed to do a good job? I took one for the team and tried them all out extensively to figure out exactly that.

#1 - G Slim Concentrate Vaporizer

Ever since the first G Pen vaporizer came out, I've always kept an eye on what Grenco Science is up to and they've finally made a wax pen that has caught my eye and then some.

The chamber is fashioned from borosilicate glass which compliments the quartz coil as far as not imparting any yucky extra flavors to the vapor. The outer shell is very good at trapping the heat inside the device, so there isn't that scary feeling that the battery is going to explode in my hand. It also comes with accessories such as a maintenance kit, packing tool, cleaning brush, and a micro USB charger. The smooth outer finish is very ergonomic and I don't have to fumble with the button very hard to get it going, but I'm still confident I won't accidentally tap the battery fives times while it's in my pocket and turn the sucker on. An instant heat up time means there's no delay in receiving my daily dose.

It's also superbly affordable at around twenty five dollars. It isn't the most durable vape pen I've bought though, that's typical of Grenco products, they are somewhat delicate compared to the more rough and tumble options out there. But at twenty five dollars, it isn't a hassle to replace and I bought two just to make my shipping money actually worth it.

Lets talk battery. The Slim should last you around five to ten full chambers of wax before going caput, not bad for moderate users of concentrates, but not acceptable at all for people who's tolerance is as high as the Empire State building. It's kind of to be expected from such a budget vaporizer that the battery isn't really space age.

One advantage to this pen is how simple it is to use. Loading it is a breeze, then just tap the battery five times and then press again to start cookin' with gas.

So, the G Pen Slim Concentrate is very easy to use, very discreet, affordable, and is an excellent choice for people who don't go through at lot of wax in a day because of the less than powerful battery.

#2 - KandyPens Gravity

The Gravity by KandyPens is a truly a standout in the wax pen world. It's iron-clad design and changeable ceramic or quartz atomizers have me gleefully coughing with delight after some huge rips.

The ceramic atomizer has no coil, just a ceramic base at the bottom that can be loaded full of concentrate. Rod style atomizers limit how much product can be placed in the device at a single time, so I go with the ceramic when I don't have time to mess about.

The quartz rod atomizer still performs delightfully well though, and I tend to use it for quick, powerful rips since it heats up stupid fast.

Most of you may have experienced that feeling when you inhale and know the mouthpiece is clogged in some kind of way, reminding you of wax past while ruining your wax present. The addition of extra airflow hole allows for more airflow and for the mouthpiece to function like a device with a carb, allowing for much more personal room to hit it how you'd prefer. It’s overall design is pretty similar to most pens, it has a single button design that I absolutely love.

Remember the double quartz coil I mentioned? Well, it can kick up some pretty impressive clouds, kind of like an ATV doing burnouts in a sandpit. Once you figure out some of the more intricate aspects of using the device properly, there's a lot on offer here. You can still take one last hit as the coil cools down, for instance. The quartz coil retains enough heat after a single session to get that last little puff so you know you got everything you possibly could, no wasting here boys and girls. The single button design functions to turn the device on and change from 4 unique heat settings. The Gravity's settings range from a light and fluffy vape to a much more in your face slap across the brain.

Having two atomizers bundled in makes it a much better deal to me, since I can swap them out to stop either from becoming too filled with wax sludge. You elect to choose between the coil-less ceramic atomizer or the double quartz coil atomizer. I personally liked the double quartz more for raw vapor production. But everyone's tastes vary, both atomizers are excellent for the purpose of getting majorly blitzed. The coil-less ceramic atomizer is perfect for people who like packing more oil at a time and really enjoying the flavor.

The battery is by far my favorite part about the KandyPens Gravity, since it stays with you for two hours of continuous usage. If I was the type to keep it on a lower temperature setting I can see it going for maybe even another hour longer. Typically I'm lucky if I can get a single hour of vape time out of a vape pen, so I'm happy someone out there is taking notes on battery technology and applying it to vaporizers.

So to sum it up, the KandyPens Gravity delivers awesome vapor quality, gives you the option to have either more vapor or more flavor based on atomizer, has 4 different heat settings, and has one of the longest battery lives among all the other pen vaporizers. The only drawback I’ve found is that the warm up time is a few seconds longer than I'd like it to be, but I can make do.

#3 - Dr. Dabber Ghost

The main gripe I've had with wax pens over the ages is that they have difficulty stacking up to the pure unadulterated bliss that comes from a full-sized dab rig. Thankfully, the Ghost by Dr Dabber comes closer than I thought to what I can get from my desktop nail & torch rig.

The first thing you'll notice on the Ghost is that it is on the bigger end of the spectrum as far as wax pens go.

This means a bigger chamber and a better battery than options that try to be as absolutely tiny as possible. The Ghost is still a pen style vaporizer that is great for stealth, but it's a big boy as far as pens are concerned.

The pen comes in a very attractive black box, but how does the device itself perform? The bright blue lights are very calming and serve to give the user information as to how the device is performing. The pen looks really cool when the blue lights are all going, especially in contrast to the sleek black exterior. Press on the button 5 times in order to turn it on or off. In case you’re interested in water filtration, there is an added glass bubble attachment that can be purchased from Dr Dabber for and even smoother vaping session.

The increased battery size is a real relief, I am so over having to charge a vaporizer more than once a day before bed.  With a battery life of two hours of continuous use, I tend to run out of wax (or at least my usual wax budget for the day) before I run out of battery.

As much as I hate using "draws" as a unit of measure, you can approximately draw anywhere between 200-300 times before a charge is in order.

This increased battery doesn't compromise the portability of the device, however. It's tapered to get thinner towards the top as it leads up to the mouthpiece, so it wont be that obvious to everyone that you have a vape pen in your possession. The added size translates nicely into a healthily sized wax chamber to boot.

I’ve noticed that towards the higher settings there's a risk of combusting concentrates as opposed to delicately vaporizing them, but that's towards the end of a smoke cycle and can easily be avoided after getting used to the Ghost.

I definitely recommend and invite vapers to try the Dr. Dabber Ghost pen. It boasts an excellent amount of vapor production with good quality hits, it heats up quickly, has a long battery life, and is very easy to hide. The only thing that I wasn’t a fan of was how the wick can combust concentrates.

#4 - Dr. Dabber Light

I typically have low expectations when it comes to vape pens that come at a low price; but to my surprise the Dr. Dabber Light proved otherwise, being a very functional unit at around fifty dollars retail price. This bank friendly vape pen is solid and comes from a very reputable manufacturer, Dr Dabber.

It's a no-frills bare bones wax vaping experience, perfect for handing off to a friend while they wait for the dab rig to become available again or to take out on the town. The Dr. Dabber Light has three parts: the battery, the atomizer, and the mouthpiece.

Its simplicity makes it easy to use. Take off the mouthpiece, load the atomizer, turn on the battery and Bob is your very stoned uncle. It comes with a handy wax tool to load the pen (it is a small pen so the wax tool is necessary), USB charger, and a one-year warranty.

The Dr. Dabber Light pen is small enough to take anywhere, even women who have to deal with the fact that their clothes seldom have usable pockets can probably find a place to keep this little guy on them. Actually, it’s the smallest wax pen on the market that performs in a satisfactory manner. It's so small it doesn't even make an outline in my jeans when I shove it in my pocket.

While it doesn’t really have any special features worth raving about, it provides high quality vapor of delectable taste. So if special features don’t really start your engine, this vape pen is exactly what you want. In fact, I do kind of get tired of manufacturers trying to shoehorn in as many random features as possible, because few of them really improve the experience for the amount of dollars they tack onto the final price.

The battery’s going to last with you for at least a hundred draws; it isn't an all-day vape but is good enough for an evening or for a solid session at home or with friends before having to turn in for the night.

Unfortunately temperature and voltage control are out of the question with the Light. I was a bit bummed by that, but the temperature is towards the higher end of the spectrum so it's not like it doesn't work. The quantity and quality of vapor is great for such a small chamber, except it feels it a bit cramped at times. The cotton wicks are good at soaking up excess material as well as delivering all of the wax you placed inside.

The Dr. Dabber Light is definitely worth the time and money. It provides top-notch quality, has very passable flavor quality, is extremely affordable, portable, and charges quickly enough.

#5 - KandyPens Galaxy

The KandyPens Galaxy is very similar to the Gravity (also by KandyPens) in both form and function, but they are not the same beast.

The airflow of the coils is different between the two, the Gravity having less resistance and more airflow while with the Galaxy you feel every single molecule of full vapor cloudiness enter your body.

The battery lasts pretty long, whoever sources KandyPens with their batteries knows their salt, as it's very atypical to get the 1.5-2 hours of usage I can get from the Galaxy's battery. The KandyPens Galaxy

Changes to the temperature settings obviously will reflect the battery life, if you're vaping on high power expect to get towards the lower end of the spectrum as far as battery life goes.

Speaking of the temperature settings, there are three to choose from. Red (350°F), Green (390°F), and blue (430°F). I'd love to have sat in on the meeting where they determined what colors mean what setting, because it looks like they chose at random, since when is red the lowest? Ultimately the choice in light has very little bearing on the vapor quality, so it's a non-issue.

The coil is made from high quality quartz rods, made for producing mammoth quantities of vapor. Quartz is for quantity of vapor, not for wine-tasting levels of flavor. The flavors are much more muted with a quartz atomizer compared to ceramic, but KandyPens seems to cater to those who want bang for their buck and not to delicately consider any "oak notes" hidden in their waxes.

There's enough in the package here to make the KandyPens Galaxy a serious contender in the wax pen realm. Hopefully I've explained enough for you to determine for yourself if it's the kind of pen you seek.

Final Words

A lot goes into a wax pen and there's a lot of leeway as to what experience you can have. Do you want something that just gets the job done when you need a quick top up where ever you might find yourself or would you like a unit that's an absolute beast? Do you prefer smaller clouds of discreet vapor or do you like the satisfaction of being your own personal fog machine?

No matter your preferences, companies worldwide have risen to the occasion and each of them have tried to make vaporizers that suit a wide range of users. All of the vaporizers in this list have been tested by myself and the information shared should help you differentiate all of them, since they all tend to look almost exactly the same after you look at them all long enough. Look for quality coil materials as well as a battery that will suit your vaping style.

Dr. Dabber Aurora Vaporizer Review

Dr Dabber Aurora Review:
My Experience Using It

Written by: Taylor | Updated: March 15th, 2019

The Dr. Dabber Aurora vaporizer is a pen-style vape pen that comes bundled with three different atomizers meant for different oils of different viscosity.

It’s packed with innovative features such as Snap Tech magnetic technology, a variable voltage battery, and 3 different atomizers to efficiently consume shatter, wax, or even near-liquid oils.

In addition to these features, the Aurora vaporizer looks sleek, feels sturdy, and has outstanding vapor production.

How It Works

Compared to other pen-style vaporizers, the Aurora is very simple to use.

On the device is a single button that allows you to scroll through the available temperature settings as well as turn the device on or off.

Five clicks turns it on or off. If you press and hold the button while the vaporizer is on, the heating element will activate, which will start heating your concentrates.

All three atomizers have a quartz dish, but that is about the only similarity between them.

The first atomizer has a dual quartz rod, which works better with thin oils.

The second one is a ceramic halo, or ceramic donut, that works best with waxes.

The final atomizer is a dual ceramic rod style atomizer, which works pretty well with thicker oils.

Choosing the right atomizer for your consistency of shatter means increased efficiency and vapor yield.

Not to mention a better overall vaping experience.

Design

Generally speaking, the look and feel of a vaporizer says a lot about the device’s overall quality. It can be safely said that the Aurora vaporizer pen not only feels great in your hand, but it also serves as a cool style statement.

The outer cover of the aurora pen is made of high quality material and the device does not look like a generic pen made by the million in China.

The device’s minimalist outer look comes with an added benefit, this thing is turbo easy to use. The Aurora vaporizer looks quite discreet, given the fact that it resembles a pen and isn't too far off from nicotine vaporizer designs.

Other attributes that put the Aurora miles ahead of its competition include things like the bright LED lights placed on the exterior of the device, which serve perfectly to inform you of the current heat setting.

As mentioned before, it includes Snap Tech magnetic technology, which is a fancy way of saying there's some really quality magnets that allow you to separate the battery, mouthpiece and atomizers with barely any effort but still know it won't come apart in your hand or pocket. The Aurora vaporizer is probably the first pen I've used that's utilized magnetic technology so effectively.

Using The Aurora

It's pretty hard to mess up when using the Aurora. The one button design and atomizer choice ensures minimal error for improper use even by unskilled users. In addition to that, the use of magnetic connections means there's no threads to get gunked up or weird crevices for things to fall into.

Having to swap out your atomizer based on oil consistently would be a real pain in the rear end had they not used magnets you can slide off with a single finger and enough pressure. If I had to unscrew everything to get it working, I wouldn't even bother, but since it's just a wham-bam process I actually find myself experimenting with the different atomizers to see if their claims about certain atomizers for certain oils is correct. So far, the definitely is a difference that I can't ascribe to the placebo effect alone.

While using the vaporizer, the different heating levels are shown by the bright LED lights on the outside of the device. Furthermore, heat settings are easily toggled  by pressing the power button three times. Five clicks to turn it on or off, very quick and easy process.

Vapor Quality

In comparison to many other vaporizer pens, the Aurora pen delivers some of the most flavorful and enjoyable vapor you can find in the market. This is because the Aurora is fantastic at actually maintaining the advertised temperatures as well as the ability to choose from any of the three atomizers made from different materials that impart different qualities to the vapor depending on which is used.

If you delve deeper into the vaporizer world, you will find that many vaporizer pens have excessively high voltage settings. This ends up creating temperatures that destroy flavor compounds, resulting in a pretty bland experience. The Aurora pen’s temperature settings, on the other hand, were especially set to conserve strong flavors, while still delivering the best results. This is because variable voltage is employed so that only the right amount of volts are delivered while the device is in use If you use the right atomizer, you can come out with the perfect amount of flavor, cloud size, and smell. The Aurora’s ceramic halo atomizer vaporizes wax evenly, since it has no wicks or wires.

For thin oils or concentrates it’s best to use the dual quartz rod atomizer, since it reduces residual taste. Finally, if you are an enthusiast of low viscosity waxes, it’s best to use the dual ceramic rod atomizer. The only downside to the Aurora vaporizer’s temperature settings is that they will make this device's potential cloud size smaller than fixed voltage devices. This doesn’t mean that the vapor is less effective in anyway, you just won’t be chucking clouds so big you'll think an episode of the Simpsons was starting.

Manufacturing Quality

The design is pretty durable, so I'd go as far as to say that the build quality is above average. I've dropped it off my computer table a half dozen times and it still works fine, it just isn't the spring chicken it used to be. All of its atomizers have a distinct purpose, great quality, and the results tend to speak for themselves if you try them all out. The exterior of the device is practically flawless in terms of both design and quality. All the materials used to make the device are of high quality and are extremely sturdy, so you don’t have to worry about the vaporizer breaking easily. Instead of the typical 510 threading of most vaporizer pens, the Aurora has been changed to magnetic connections which concerned me at first because I thought the thing would come apart if I tried holding it like any threaded vape. But so far, there has been no trouble at all regarding the magnets or times where the mouth piece has flown across the room because I put my thumb on it too hard.. It’s hard to tell whether they will continue to work as well over longer periods of time, but there is simply no reason to think that they won’t unless I consistently drop them or do whatever magic it is that makes magnets stop working.

Battery Life

The Aurora vaporizer comes with a robust, variable voltage voltage battery that allows you to set up your smoking sessions according to your taste. For less intense sessions made to sample the flavor & aromatic profile, you can choose the lowest power setting. For shorter, more powerful sessions, you can raise the settings to raise the voltage and really bring the heat. As with most vaporizers the battery can easily be charged with the magnetic USB charger that accompanies the vaporizer’s kit. The power setting as well as additional battery life, is shown by LED lights for your convenience. When compared to over pen vaporizers, the Aurora vaporizer’s battery life is incredible.

Although the different voltage settings will affect how long your batteries will last, you can expect up to three-hundred draws from a single charge. In other words, if you’re not a heavy smoker, you could last a whole week without needing to recharge you vaporizer. But, even if you are a heavy smoker, rest assured. It only takes about 2 hours to fully charge the Aurora vaporizer and be back on your feet (well, until you hit it again that is). The one year warranty quelled most of my worries about the magnets on this thing going after six months.

Portability

Most types of vaporizers, especially pen-style ones, are pretty portable. The Aurora vaporizer is no exception. Slip it into your pocket and fret not. It's not the smallest vape pen around but even a large vape pen (a vape marker perhaps) goes into a pocket with ease. The magnets do not come apart when being transported or if you have to run out of the rain with it in your pocket.

Aurora Artist Series

An additional feature of the Aurora line of vaporizesr is that Dr. Dabber, the device's creator, has teamed up with famous Miami graffiti artist David Anasagasti, also known as AHOL Sniffs Glue, to design a limited edition one of a kind artistic collaboration. The series is better known as the Aurora AHOL Sniffs Glue Artist Series. It features David Anasagasti’s well-known drooping eye design, which he uses as his calling card. The design is placed on the Aurora vaporizer pen along with all of its accessories for your viewing enjoyment, plus it adds a nice unique feel.

Even the packaging of the Aurora Artist has a lot of effort put into it. As part of the series, the Aurora comes in a false spraypaint can. The package itself includes a custom hat, honey mat, and lapel. In addition, the package contains a pin, atomizers, silicone containers, a charging dock, and a dab tool. You can choose between a black and red color scheme or a blue and white one, which both look awesome. You can pick up the Aurora AHOL Sniffs Glue Artist Series straight from Dr. Dabber for $109.95. The extra ten bucks gets you a real buttload of goodies.

Where I Bought It

I bought my Dr Dabber Aurora from VaporNation. They offered the lowest price online and I saved an extra 10% on top of that by using the coupon code "IMARIJUANIT" at checkout.

They also offered free shipping which I can't complain about.

Overall Experience

If you’re looking for a vaporizer that can mainly be used for concentrates, then the Aurora pen-style vaporizer is one of the better options out there. Any consistency of wax can be used to it's fullest potential without any worries that you could have gotten more out of your already expensive shatter. On top of that, I find that merely having 3 different atomizers means that it'll take longer before one becomes absolutely disgusting and needs to be thrown in the bin.

The fact that the device has magnetic connections is definitely an innovation I'd like to see more of in other vaporizers, whether it be pen or handheld.. Also, the fact that they give you three different atomizers right out of the box is downright unheard of. The crisp cloud quality is also a rarity in pen style vaporizers, that usually just get the job done with no regard for taste. The sole downside to the Aurora is that you might have a hard time creating thick clouds when you use it, but given all the pros of this device, this is but a minor concern. Overall, the device is one of the best vaporizer pens money can buy.

Atmos Jump Review

Atmos Jump Review:
A Dry Herb Vape Pen Worth Considering

Written by: Taylor | Updated: March 22nd, 2019

Are you looking for a dry herb vape pen that packs a punch?

The Atmos Jump might just be for you.

Since its release in 2015, I’ve always had my eyes on the Atmos Jump. My first encounter with it was through a friend…you know, the kind of ‘here-give-this-a-shot’ moment that I was already eager to take full advantage of.

After toying around with the Atmos Jump, I realized this vaporizer is unlike most vape pens on the market... it doesn't suck.

The Atmos Jump is one of those dry herb pen-style vaporizers that are extremely affordable. Gone are the days when you had to pay over $200 for a vaporizer and get an actual piece of crap.

The Atmos Jump is without a doubt one of my favorite vape pens. It's quickly became one of my daily drivers, especially when I'm on the go.

It's both extremely affordable, and packs a punch.

In this review I hope to cover everything you need to know about the Atmos Jump if you're considering picking one up for yourself.

Now lets get into the full review!

The Design

The Atmos Jump’s design is simple. The pen is made up of two pieces; the mouthpiece with its locking system that locks and unlocks with a quick twist, and the rest of the unit including non-removable battery. The Atmos Jump’s exterior features a cool carbon-fiber design with an anodized steel chamber. The unit itself feels like a solid build, there's no weird rattles if I shake it and it has an authoritative hand-feel. The chamber heats up with a pretty great about of pep and can hold between 0.25 and 0.3 of a gram of dry herbs.

The only thing that I was actually worried about was the plastic mouthpiece. Always puts me on my toes that I'll burn my lips by the end of the session. The air path inside the device works sufficient to keep the vapor at temperatures that won't hurt, that's not to say it can't get a little uncomfortable if you really push it. Overall, the little guy is pretty rugged and durable, I'm impressed.

Key Features

  • Two piece design
  • check
    Single button activation
  • check
    380 F set temperature
  • check
A carbon-fiber casing to ensure the exterior of the device remains cool
  • check
Accessories include a Micro USB charger and a maintenance kit with a cleaning brush and packing tool

Discreetness

One of the best things I’ve noticed about the Atmos Jump is its discreetness. You see, the device comes at a single temperature setting. Sure, this could seem like a turn-off for most people, but at 350 F, it’s right in the middle of the road as far as maximum and minimum vape temperatures go. It produces highly psychoactive vapor, but doesn't produce massive amounts of vapor. You could probably exhale this right in a crowded classroom and have maybe one or two people notice but have no idea where it's coming from, absolutely brilliant in my opinion. Obviously, some compounds as well as residual THC remains in bud that's put through this vape. Hold on to the ABV for use in edibles or even a stronger vape.

The design helps keep the device inconspicuous, to boot. It’s compact enough to easily be hidden out of sight should the need arise with a casual closing of the palm. I can’t tell you how many times I was able to just slip the vaporizer into my pocket without a care in the world. The cheat code for stealth with vape pens is looking like a nicotine vaporizer, and this one capitalizes on that nicely.

Battery Life

The Atmos Jump features a 1200mah internal battery to power the device. From what I’ve tested, you’re looking at 30 minutes of continuous use. What makes this pen awesome, though, is that the device shuts down after 5 minutes to conserve battery life. So, if you keep your sessions within the 5-minute cycles, the battery can easily get you through a day of getting stoned about once every three hours if you need to get really stoned each day.

The one thing I didn’t particularly like was how long it took to recharge the battery. Charging the battery took me anywhere between 3 and 4 hours, which I felt was a little long for 30 minutes of vaping time. I hope this is improved upon with a higher mAh battery in the future. Bare minimum, I'd like charge time to closely mirror useable time.

Still, stay within the 5-minute sessions and make sure you take deep and slow belly inhales.

Vapor Quality

A $60 vape pen is pretty inexpensive for a dry herb vaporizer,  so of course there's some caveats. The battery is only 1200 mAh resulting in a pretty pitiful battery life, but does vapor quality take a hit too? Well, not really. For the Atmos Jump’s price, I was blissfully surprised at the quality of vapor I was getting. I honestly went in expecting a less than par experience because of the low temperature settings and the price tag.

Personally, I thought the temperature was spot on for those who aren't super stoners that need the maximum possible amount of vapor at the highest possible temperature. In fact, it's spot on for a nice enjoyable high that doesn't affect your day, just makes it a little bit better. That one temperature setting actually adds to the easy-to-use value the Atmos Jump provides.

The Jump’s quality is for those who want much thinner vapor and more flavor, rather than those seeking a cloud chasing experience that's sure to result in some coughing. It kind of places itself in middle ground, which to me, isn’t a bad place to be at all. The smaller chamber size actually works in it's favor because its so small there really isn't a need to stir the chamber, it's definitely all came in contact with some heat.

Pros

  • Attractively low price
  • Solid casing and carbon-fiber design
  • Extremely portable
  • Very discreet
  • Large but not heavy hits
  • Easy to use
  • Auto shut-off

Cons

  • Single temperature setting
  • thumbs-down
    Long battery charging time

How Does It Work?

Working the Atmos Jump could not be any simpler. Once charged, twist the mouthpiece counterclockwise to unlock it and remove it from the pen. Try not to lose it! Now you've exposed the herb chamber, load it full of dried flower. The best tightness to pack your herbs in the Jump is to pack fairly tightly, you aren't working with much space anyways.. But don’t make the mistake of packing them too tight that it restricts the airflow.

Turning it on is pretty straightforward. Simply press the power button three times quickly, and watch the LED on the front turn orange. That means the device is heating. Once it’s reached temperature, the orange light will turn green, and the device is ready to use. Focus on taking a long controlled draw from the device before exhaling. Depending on light conditions it sometimes look like you didn't get very much, fret not, the buzz is coming either way.

Where To Buy It?

If you're interested in purchasing the Atmos Jump, I recommend using the button below.

It's where I bought mine because they offered the lowest price available online, and offered free shipping!

You can also use IMARIJUANIT at checkout for an extra 10% off!

Conclusion

At a price point so low you'd consider buying it if you really needed something quick to vape from, the Atmos Jump, delivers a worthwhile vaping experience. It’ll get you stoned, no doubt. The one 350 F temperature setting is a bit of a bummer, but I can't see them feasibly improving it without making a vaporizer that dies after just one session until they upgrade the battery to something a little more substantial. However, the dry herb pen market is lacking, most pens cater exclusively to concentrates.

The Atmos Jump, with its sleek design, great portability and wonderful functionality has made it at the very least worth the time. It has a time and a place, it isn't going to be your main vaporizer or even the top 5 best you'll ever use, but I can't deny it serves a purpose.

Best Vaporizer Pens of 2018

A vaporizer pen is the ultimate device for vaporizing enthusiasts that desire a compact, portable, and efficient system of vaporization.

Vape pens take the cake as far as discreetness goes, since they are easy to conceal and in most cities and can easily be passed off as a nicotine e-juice vaporizer before returning to your pocket.

Vaporizer pens are also typically the least expensive variety of vaporizer typically due to the fact that they offer the least amount of features because they serve a simple purpose: be small, be functional, and be able to last long enough while on the move.

Not all of these vape pens are made with the same level of craftsmanship and attention to what users want from their devices, some are even just made to look the part but do not actually deliver consistent results.

The biggest drawbacks with vaporizer pens tend to be a low battery life due to the devices ideally being quite small, leaving little room for a powerful battery to be attached. Some manufacturers have thought up inventive ways to mitigate the natural drawbacks of making of product of this size, and some just do their best with what they have.

Inconsistent batteries and pens that lose power as the battery gets lower in charge level have had me running for an outlet too many times. Over time, I’ve come to find which pens on the market are worth the price tag and which are not.

The first three pen vaporizers on this list are for concentrates only and the last two are dry herb only.

Here is a list of the top 5 pen vaporizers available to consumers in 2018.

$109.99 $99.95

At a price tag of $50, the Doctor Dabber Light is the least expensive vape pen on this list, but it is not to be underestimated.

It retails for such an affordable price because it is a very bare-bones concentrate vaporizer, striving to be the best choice for those who like the best mix of quality and price. About the size of an actual writing pen, the Doctor Dabber Light has only one heat setting but is sure to leave any doubters stoned out of their tree all day.

This is the pen vaporizer I would suggest for those unsure if vaporizer pens are their cup of tea. It was a surprisingly easy decision to come to, as I really cannot think of any attribute sought by most vape users that is not satisfied by this device. There’s only one button on the device, press it five times to turn it off or on and then press and hold the button to begin vaporizing.

I’d say it’s pretty easy to use, seeing as I just described everything you can do with it in about 25 words.

The Doctor Dabber Light is solely designed for concentrates, so if you're looking for a way to vape dry herbs you better keep scrolling. It's much too small for it to be worth it even if it was compatible with dry herbs.

The reliability of this device can't be understated. It is designed for simple one button push and then you receive a sharp lungful of very potent concentrate vapor. I can always rely on the Light when I'm out and I usually keep one somewhere in my kit as an emergency piece in case one of my bulkier models die or would be ill suited for where I'm headed out to. A full charge lasts about 100 draws and two draws will get me absolutely toasted while one just gives me enough to make grocery shopping a bit more fun. If it does die, it's just two hours of charging before I'm back at it again.

The only aspect of the Light where you have any choice is in the material that the atomizer/coil is made up of. There is the option for a pure titanium atomizer and coil or a ceramic wick with a titanium coil. The ceramic wick is more susceptible to getting gunked up but heats up much faster than it's pure titanium counterpart. The titanium atomizers take slightly longer to heat up but there is next to no risk of accidentally burning your product or losing any of the more nuanced tastes and smells of your concentrates. My Dr Dabber Light came with two pure titanium atomizers with the option of purchasing the ceramic ones separately, but different retailers differ in what atomizers come with the device, so make sure to read before you buy if atomizer construction really matters to you.

The battery life is stellar, I seldom had to charge it more than once daily to facilitate my 4-6 sessions a day, and the vapor quality is very passable. If you want to try vaporizer pens or want to use a wax pen that covers all bases adequately so you can see what you really want from a vape pen, the Dr Dabber Light is the best route to go.

We bring ourselves now to the vape pen that’s not only captivated my attention, but the attention of none other than Snoop Dogg himself.

The G Pen by Grenco Science is an excellent contender in portable vaporizer technology. Equipped with a dual quartz atomizer, smart mouthpiece with screen included, next-level chamber design, and powerful battery, the G Pen is for those who do not have time to mess about when vaporizing concentrates.

What I really love about the G-Pen is how it looks nearly identical to the extremely commonly sold $20 e-juice vaporizers sold by gas stations and junk merchants nation-wide, meaning I've been able to hit this vaporizer in plain sight at bus stops or just walking through town without anyone second guessing it because they think they've seen it hundreds of times before.

If I really wanted to keep my possession and use of this device a secret I easily could seeing how it's about the size of a marker, but I've always been partial to any device that allows me to hide in plain sight.

Coil design goes a long way in portable concentrate pens as a poorly designed coil can sink an otherwise solid design. An improperly designed coil can result in poor vapor production, poor vapor quality, and it can also put needless strain on the battery and reduce it's overall life. The G-Pen is equipped with a dual quartz coil, two quartz rods are placed side by side and individually wrapped in titanium wire. The benefits of dual coils is that the more coils there are, the higher the maximum attainable temperature. The benefits of the quartz construction is that quartz coils heat up extremely quickly so very little energy is used to heat the device compared to ceramic for instance, and quartz coils are some of the best in the business for vapor production.

The chamber is large enough to pack sizeable dabs that won't leave you wondering why you didn't just purchase something a bit bigger, while still keeping the device firmly in concealable territory.

A typical problem with most concentrate pens is that they have a nasty habit making the material being vaped bubble up and get shot through the mouthpiece into the mouth of the user like some kind of super-heated Aunt Jemima's. This pen finally did something about that problem by adding a small screen to the bottom of the mouthpiece, effectively eliminating the problem very easily.

A small downsize of the G-Pen is that it is besides the coil and the mouthpiece a very bare bones vape pen with no sort of temperature control or any other sort of features besides: can vaporize concentrates really well. Besides that however, I'm more than satisfied with the G-Pen. If it's good enough for Snoop, it's good enough for me.

The Dr Dabber Ghost is actually the very first vape pen that I ever purchased, and it set the bar pretty high for every vaporizer I've bought since.

The Ghost is a concentrate vaporizer that delivers massive clouds of vapor.

It's a super simple vaporizer to use, and has a pretty solid battery life, especially for a vaporizer pen.

Out of all of the vaporizer pens in the list, the Ghost is definitely one of the most underrated.

The atomizer produces really nice tasting vapor, which is something that is rare for a vaporizer pen. This is most likely due to the fact that the atomizer is made from ceramic wrapped in titanium wire. Ceramic coils heat up more slowly than other materials which produces very smooth and tasty vapor, large amounts of vapor aren't produced until the end of the draw.

Being a size up from the Dr Dabber Light, the battery on this thing is about two to three times as powerful with about the same amount of charge time. That translates to about 200-300 draws from fully charged to dead per two hours charge time to get it back to being fully charged. What surprised me was that the last 100 draws were only slightly less powerful than the first 200, this is atypical for most pen style vaporizers as you usually know when your battery is at around 30% charge because it quickly becomes essentially useless, this is not the case with the Ghost.

The Ghost fits the bill in stellar fashion if you're in the market for beautifully tasting vapor in a package that can last you all day. Sometimes I forego bringing larger kits with me in favor of the Ghost and I'm never regretful of that choice.

#4 - Kandypens K-Vape

Okay, so there have been a lot of concentrate vaporizer pens on this list, the market really tends towards concentrate only when it comes to vape pens because space is such an issue. Actual smaller vaporizers would only be able to hold minuscule amounts of flower, so most manufacturers don't see much point in even trying.

Kandypens sought to shelve the debate for good by releasing the Kandypens K Vape, a dry herb pen vaporizer that satisfies just as well as a larger vaporizer can. The pen has multiple heat settings ranging from 320°F to 420°F, so you actually have a fair bit of choice in what kind of high you'd like to enjoy.

The K-Vape is pushing the limits on what exactly can be considered a vaporizer "pen", as I would compare it's size to one of those extremely large black markers you'd find at a shipping warehouse. Without the added size you'd be vaping one-hitter sized bowls though which in my opinion would aggravate me into smoking a joint more than anything else. Does compromising on size mean quality didn't have to be compromised? In the case of the K-Vape, I'd like to argue yes.

For whatever reason, this vaporizer is the vaporizer of choice for knockoff manufacturers as I've seen it sold under a handful of different names by dozens of fly-by-night vape retailers throughout the years. I've tried the Randy Troo which is identical in look and function to the K-Vape but the K-Vape had a better taste and overall less shoddy construction than the Randy Troo. Unfortunately the Troo wasn't mine so I wasn't able to open them both up and see how they differ underneath the hood.

Portability wise it's a good vape to pack before you go on the move and then hit intermittently throughout the day, if I ration myself properly I can get about three solid sessions a day before I need to charge it again, so it's truly one of the greats as far as dry herb vaporizer pens go.

Vape pens earned their name because the earliest models were chambers or atomizers connected to a simple 510 battery and resembled your typical office pen at first glance.

The Atmos Boss is a dry herb vaporizer that looks like something R2D2 might pass you in a dimly lit cantina. It is one of the few dry herb vaporizer pens that are functional, affordable, and worthwhile all at once.

There are some drawbacks to this rudimentary system, however. Such a compact overall unit and battery have limitations pertaining to battery life, power capacity, and herb capacity. As time has gone on, vaporizer pens have increased in size to augment their capabilities.

The Atmos Boss is about one or two steps up from those original miniature pens size-wise but about five steps up quality wise. From 100% charge to dead, it can be expected to get two and a half hours of amazingly dense and flavorful vapor thanks to the stainless steel heating chamber.

That stainless steel heating chamber makes the Atmos Boss probably the tastiest vaporizer on this list, and I've yet to see another vaporizer try and do what Atmos has with stainless steel.

If you do get this vaporizer, one thing you may find yourself trying to navigate around is the auto-shut off feature. After 75 seconds the vaporizer will shut off, which isn't always enough time to vape through the chamber depending on what strain of cannabis you have, how it was dried, or dozens of other aspects that can affect how nicely your herbs vaporize. To mitigate this issue, you can immediately turn the device back on again. The light will be red indicating it is not ready to drawn from, but there is simply just a small lag time between the light updating to where it should be as the chamber is still more than hot enough for you to finalize your bowl full of dry herb.

The Atmos Boss is still small enough to be concealed in a user’s hand and heats up rapidly, meaning that sometimes all one needs is a quick run into a secluded spot to top up their buzz. I am a huge fan of the stainless steel heating chamber because this is the first herbal pen vaporizer I’ve used that actually heats herb evenly without me having to manually stir the herbs and I attribute this entirely to the expertly made heating chamber. I wholeheartedly recommend the Atmos Boss.

I hope this list gives some insight for those unsure of which vaporizer pen in the currently inundated market works best for them. Check back soon for our comprehensive list of the best portable & desktop vaporizers!

Dr Dabber Light Review

Dr Dabber Light Review:
Is This Vape Pen Worth Buying?

Looking for an affordable vape pen that won’t break the bank but also won’t leave you disappointed?

The Doctor is in!

I have to admit that before I first tried this device I had low expectations. Most devices at this price offer a less than stellar concentrate experience, and so I really wasn’t very hopeful. However, I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong, and I’m happy to say that I was definitely wrong about this micro wax pen – it’s rapidly become one of my favorites in its class.

Tiny enough to take anywhere, but still produces excellent vapor quality– what’s not to like?

This vaporizer retails for around $69.95 but we found a deal for $49.95 plus free shipping, just click here to get the deal.

Now let's get into the review!

The Dr Dabber Light is a vape pen that is meant for use with concentrates specifically.

It stacks up very well compared to other vape pens on the market, but it's important to keep in mind just how inexpensive this vaporizer is in comparison to other vape pens of similar quality.

The Dr Dabber Light is the poor mans dream vape pen in my opinion.

If you're looking for a cheap vape pen that delivers solid vapor quality, then look no further than the Dr Dabber Light.

Lets get into the review...

How Does It Work?

Yes, Dr Dabber Light is pretty basic.

You won’t get any of the bells and whistles that you’ll find on some of the higher end devices here, but then again, they don’t come in this cheaply either. This device was designed with simplicity in mind.

There are 3 parts to this device:

  • The mouthpiece
  • The atomizer
  • And the battery

This vape pen really couldn’t be easier to use with just one power button which turns the device on and engages the heat. Simply screw the mouthpiece and atomizer in place and you’re good to go.

Something I should mention, there is one downside.

This isn’t the most flexible device out there.

There are only two kinds of atomizers that you can use with this device, and both are pretty similar, but then again, if you’re looking for performance paired with simplicity that can go anywhere with you, this is the device for you. It comes complete with a handy wax tool for loading the device as well as a USB charger, and it’s even protected by a one year manufacturer’s warranty for peace of mind.

Portability and Durability

While it’s always nice to settle down for a vaping session at home, nobody wants to be without their device when they’re on the move. The problem with some so-called “portable vaporizers” is that they aren’t actually small enough to take on outings and they leave a tell-tale bulge in your pocket that isn’t exactly appealing or practical. You won’t have this problem with the Dr Dabber Light, since it’s once of the smallest vape pens available on the market.

Another great thing about the Dr Dabber Light is that it’s incredibly efficient. It’s design may not be cutting edge, but there’s nothing to complain about when it comes to manufacturing quality, and while its name is very appropriate, it certainly is very lightweight – it definitely doesn’t feel cheap at all.

While every wax pen is portable to a certain extent, this device is especially portable. Barely larger than a standard cigarette and similar in size and thickness to a pen, it’ll fit perfectly into any bag, pocket or purse so you can carry it anywhere, and it certainly won’t weigh you down.

Just don’t be like me and forget where you left it and have to search the house looking for it!

Discreetness

If you like to vape on the go, finding a device that’s discreet could be an important factor in your purchasing decision.

One of the things I loved about this device is that its size doesn’t just make it really portable… It also makes it virtually unnoticeable when vaping outside the home.

The Light pen looks similar enough to a regular e-cig or standard writing pen to go undetected in public – fantastic when you’re trying to fly under the radar.

While the Dr Dabber Light certainly isn’t fancy and can’t be customized, it’s reliable, easy to take anywhere. When you take into consideration the quality of this vaporizer for the price you pay, you really can’t beat it. It’s super portable and produces pretty great flavor and vapor.

Ease of Use

You couldn’t find a device that’s easier to use than the Dr Dabber Light. Even if you’ve never picked up a wax pen before you wouldn’t have any difficulty in figuring this vape out.

There’s no need to read the instructions, you just screw all the pieces together, fill with concentrates, press the power button and off you go.

Filling up the chamber is a breeze thanks to the concentrate tool that comes with it.

It’s ideal for those who are new to concentrate vaping, but also great for experienced users who are looking for something affordable.

Battery Life

The internal battery of this device is pretty small. However it still lasts for around 100 draws. That’s not bad at all, especially if you’re an average user, and I found it lasted a couple of days before needing to recharge.

Of course, if you’re a heavier user than me, you might have to recharge every day.

It’s also got a really quick charge time compared to other vape pens on the market. It charges in well under an hour, even when the unit is completely dead.

Vapor Quality & Flavor

I was a bit disappointed to discover that there is absolutely no flexibility in temperature with the Dr Dabber Light, and there’s no way to change the wattage or voltage. Then again, you can’t really expect that kind of versatility at this price point. For the price you pay, their aren’t many vape pens that compare.

One thing I love about this device is there is no compromising on the vapor quality.

In fact I thought this device even outperformed some of the more expensive vape pens that I’ve tried in the past. However it’s the flavor that this device produces that really impressed me.

If you’ve found that low cost vape pens produce a burned flavor, you’ll be delighted to discover that you won’t have any of those problems with the Dr Dabber Light. The atomizer has cotton wicks which take a few minutes to fully soak up the concentrates, so you’ll need to wait for a little longer than with some of its rivals for it to heat up.

The good news is that once it’s hot you won’t need to heat it up again.

Pros

  • Extremely portable
  • Very discreet looking
  • Excellent vapor quality for a vape pen
  • Solid battery life
  • Quick charge time

Cons

  • No temperature flexibility
  • thumbs-down
Small chamber capacity, not suitable for a single pack with multiple people

Atmos Boss Review

Atmos has done it again..

The Boss vaporizer pen is among one of the top choices on the market amongst customers. Before picking up this device for myself, I read countless reviews all indicating that the Boss vape pen is a solid little vaporizer. I was very excited to get my hands on this pen vaporizer.

It’s known for producing clouds of vapor matching the Vicod 5G 2nd Generation which is a more expensive model also made by Atmos. The Atmos Boss has a 75 second automatic cut-off, optimizing battery time and conserving herbs. We’ve reviewed tons of vaporizers at iMarijuanit, but this one is hands down one of our favorites.

The Boss has produces excellent tasting vapor in comparison to other similar sized vaporizers. The stainless steel chamber of the Atmos Boss is second to none in terms of pulling very rich flavors and aromas from the herbs of your choice.

Vapor Quality

The vapor quality of the Atmos Boss is unmatched by other models with similar designs. As I already said, the stainless steel chamber produces excellent tasting vapor, and produces some massive clouds of vapor.

I personally was really surprised on the performance of this vaporizer when it comes to vapor quality. It’s a solid little device especially considering it’s size. It out performs most vape pen’s on the market that I’ve personally tried.

Design

At first glance, the Atmos Boss appears to be an ordinary vape pen, with some pretty neat looking designs stenciled on the outside of it.

However in all actuality, the Boss has a unique design that sets it apart from other vape pens. If you’re familiar with Atmos products, the Boss is smaller in width than the Orbit, but bigger around than the RX. The Boss has a stainless steel chamber as opposed to the Orbit’s traditional ceramic style chamber. Which does a great job at vaporizing herbs evenly, and prevents your material from combusting.

The difference in herb chamber design to some people is of little importance, but this is where I think the Boss stands out. it produces really solid vapor quality, which is funny because originally I thought a stainless steel chamber would run high temperature wise. However this was not the case.

Besides the stainless-steel chamber, the boss has other features that set it apart from standard vaping pens.

For instance, it has an automatic heating chamber. What that means, is instead of clicking the button five times or three times to turn it on, and then having the long press it to get it to heat up, the Boss has a feature that starts heating automatically when you press the button three times to turn it on. This just takes out a step in the process, but there are couple of things you need to know about this specific feature to get optimum vaporizing from the Boss.

(see the tips section near the bottom for more information)

Battery Life

The battery life on the Boss vaporizer is really impressive, especially compared to other vape pens. Depending on your usage, the battery will last you anywhere from 2 to 2 ½ hours of steady usage.

It takes between two or three hours to charge, which isn’t too bad. One charge will last me all day, and I’ll usually still have battery life left at the end of the day.

The Boss is designed with an automatic shut off, there will be more about this feature in the tips section at the bottom, but basically it shuts off after 75 seconds, as opposed to most pen vaporizer shutting off after four minutes. This essentially means that you will save a lot more of the battery, but may have to be restarted once or twice to finish your session.

Conclusion

Atmos has done a great job once again. The Atmos Boss vape pen delivers excellent vapor quality, and overall delivers some massive hits of vapor for such a small unit. It produces tastier hits than most vape pens I’ve used. This is a great little unit for anybody looking for a new portable vaporizer pen.

The Boss from Atmos will not let you down, and is a very good purchase to say the very least. Atmos is a very reputable manufacturer, and you can feel confident you’re receiving a quality product when ordering their vaporizers.

Atmos has been around for years. They have a huge following, a happy customer base, and excellent engineers that continue to move the industry forward through innovation. You can rest assured buying Atmos products, as they do not skimp out on quality. I’m a big fan of this company and their products.

Where to buy?

We recommend buying this vaporizer from VaporNation.com. Click the link below, and you’ll receive a discount on their site.

Pros

  • The stainless steel heating chamber delivers solid vapor quality
  • It’s got an stylish design
  • The herb chamber can fit a good amount of material
  • It’s got a long battery life, and is pretty quick to charge
  • This vaporizer doesn’t combust your herbs
  • You do not need to use screens with this vaporizer

Cons

  • This unit has an automatic cut-off feature (read the work-around below)

Users have complained about the automatic cutoff been at 75 seconds, stating that they don’t have enough time to finish vaping was a want to vaporize before the cutoff. There is a very easy remedy to this, which I will dive into in detail below in my usage tips.

Do I recommend the Atmos Boss?

Yes, without a doubt.

I recommend this product to anybody looking for an herb pen. This vaporizer is especially good for someone who’s never owned a vaporizer before, since it’s extremely beginner friendly. The Boss by Atmos is one of my go-to vaporizer pens for a reason, it’s a solid little unit.

Usage Tips For Using the Boss

Tip #1Getting around the Auto Shut-Off Feature

One feature I personally am not a big fan of, and something users need to be aware of is the auto shut off feature. Since the vape has a 75 second cutoff time, I’ve ran into issues where my session gets cut shut short before getting my fill during a vaping session. I just wanted to address this directly because there is a very easy solution for it.

All you need to do is turn the unit on again, right after the cut off, and even with the light red, you will still be able to hit like normal. Just think of it like this; the cutoff is in seconds, not temperature. What this means to you, is that the temperature will still be hot enough to produce vapor if you turn it on immediately after the cutoff.

Tip #2How to Ensure Heat Distribution

Always grinder herbs as finely as possible, to distribute the heat evenly while vaping, and allow air exchange. I noticed a huge difference in vapor quality when grinding my herbs more finely. It’s also best to not pack the unit’s herb chamber too tight, since from my experience a looser pack will allow the herbs to vaporize more evenly.

Tip #3How to Get More Usage Out of Each Session

Towards the end of your session, when the herbs start to produce less vapor, hold the unit in one hand and tap it with the fingers of your other hand firmly to shake up the ingredients inside. This will redistribute the herbs, which will allow you to get another two or three tokes.

Tip #4 Keep Your Herb Chamber Clean

Always clean the chamber with the provided cleaning tool. This will accomplish two separate things. It will keep your device clean so that it doesn’t get any bad flavors over time, and it will lengthen the life and performance of your device by reducing resin buildup.

About the Company

Atmos is one of the most popular vaporizer brands currently on the market. They are well known for creating quality portable vaporizers such as the Transporter and the Vicod 5G.

Kandypens Galaxy Review

Kandypens Galaxy Review:
A Concentrate Vape Pen That I Love

Written by: Taylor | Updated: March 18th, 2019

If you’re looking for a concentrate vape pen that delivers solid vape quality (yes they do exist)listen up.

The Kandypens Galaxy is a quartz coil wax concentrate vaporizer pen that delivers excellent vapor quality compared to most vape pens. Even though this style of concentrate pen’s is relatively new to the market, it has been able to gain quite a bit of popularity from consumers and for the right reasons too.

Its dimensions make it extremely portable, but it performs more like a portable than a pen vaporizer in my opinion.

Its vapor quality is simply amazing and it’s what sets it apart from other vape pens I’ve tried. The taste you are able to get from this concentrate pen is far better than any other wax pen’s I’ve tried. There is no funky flavor that you often times see with coil style vape pens.

The Galaxy has a sleek and beautiful design that is bound to capture just about anyone’s attention. Beside’s it’s excellent performance and classy look, it also comes with a very reasonable price tag of around $99.95 when purchased from our recommended retailer below!

(you'll get an additional 10% off when you use coupon code: IMARIJUANIT).

Read our full review below to understand why this vaporizer is gaining popularity!

Design

The Galaxy is a very solid vape pen, and comes with an excellent build quality that is sure to last a long time. It’s quartz coil is my favorite atomizer I’ve used on a vaporizer pen, and in my opinion out shines all other wax atomizers currently available.

Kandypens offers a lifetime warranty on this product so you can be sure it will last for years to come, if not just get your money back!

Temperature Flexibility

The Kandypens Galaxy comes with 3 temperature settings that can be easily changed. The 3 temperature settings are:

  • Red (350°F)
  • Green (390°F)
  • Blue (430°F)

I personally recommend the green setting as I feel it is a good mix between good tasting vapor, and also large clouds of vapor!

Portability

Its portability makes it a great option to vaporize on the go! Like with most vape pens, it’s easy to conceal and easily will fit in your pocket.

This product has been the ultimate travel companion for me lately. Its portability, as well as its excellent battery life allows me to take this vaporizer practically anywhere!

Battery Life

The battery life of the Galaxy vape pen is solid and it lasts quite a long time. You can easily get well over 2 hours of consistent usage per charge.

Pro Tip #1 – By vaping on the lowest setting you can stretch the battery life by about 20-30 minutes.

While the battery on this vape might be small, it still outperforms most, if not all vape pen batteries I’ve tried to date.

Vapor Quality

One of the biggest things that sets this vaporizer pen apart from the other units on the market is its vapor production. The Kandypens Galaxy is outstanding and will satisfy anybody who knows what good vapor quality is all about.

Its quartz rod atomizer does an incredible job of vaporizing concentrates effectively and efficiently! The atomizer chamber features quartz rods, titanium coils as well as quartz lining which provides for amazing vapor quality. This combination works together to provide a clean tasting vapor without burning your concentrates.

The Galaxy does an excellent job at providing large, flavorful clouds of vapor.

Ease of Use

This vaporizer is relatively easy to use even for a first time user. The only part that requires any effort at all is taking the time to load your concentrates into the heating chamber, which can be difficult depending on the consistency of your wax.

Other than that, like most vape pens, the Galaxy is about as easy as turning on and holding the power button.

Pros

  • The atomizer chamber is quite large allowing you to fit quite bit of concentrates for massive hits
  • The overall performance of this concentrate pen is beyond any other vape pens on the market
  • Its quartz coil atomizer provides amazing tasting hits of vapor
  • This vape pen doesn’t get very hot at all, which is something you see a lot with pen vaporizers
  • Its design makes you never have to worry about clogging it, and provides for excellent air flow
  • The Galaxy has the best battery of any vape pen I’ve tried thus far

Cons

  • This vaporizer pen comes with 3 temperature settings which some people might not like

How It Works

The Kandypens Galaxy vaporizer features a single button and once you activate it, you will see the LED light flash 5 times. Depending on your preference, you have the ability to choose between the provided three heat settings by clicking on the power button three times.

There are 3 temperature settings to choose from, Red 350°F, Green 390°F and Blue 430°F.

Once you select your temperature setting, it will heat the device anytime the user holds down the button. As soon as you click the button, there is no delay what so ever. The atomizer will immediately start heating up and will stop heating once you remove your finger from the button.

It’s a great vape pen to puff on and you can get quite a bit from even small draws.

The products atomizer features a dual quartz rods that are wrapped in titanium coils and the chamber is lined with quartz. It can hold more than enough concentrates to accommodate even the most seasoned connoisseurs.

To charge it, it comes with a standard USB plugin. As with any portable vaporizer it is important to let the battery charge fully to allow the vape to maintain it’s efficiency and overall battery life.

Overall Experience

I would highly recommend the Kandypens Galaxy vape pen to anybody looking for a wax vape pen. This unit outperforms most if not all other vape pens I’ve tried with it’s superior vapor quality and extra long battery life. This tiny unit provides thick and heavy clouds of vapor that are unmatched by any other concentrate pens on the market.

We “highly” recommend this product.

The Atmos Vicod has a pen style design but it’s technically a portable vaporizer. You have full control over the temperature and you can set it anywhere from 350°to 430°F. It features a digital temperature display which is very handy, that also displays how much battery life your Vicod has remaining.

The herb chamber has a really great design which allows for your herbs to be vaporized evenly.

Battery Life

The Vicod has a pretty solid battery considering it’s small size. This portable boasts over a 1 and a half hour battery life per charge and this can easily be increased if you vaporize at lower temperatures.

Pro tip #1 – If you use the vaporizer at the lowest temperature setting, the battery life can easily be stretched to 2 hours.

Vapor Quality

I was very impressed with how solid the vapor production was on this unit. The Vicod delivers some pretty big hits of vapor and the flavor your able to get is pretty impressive!

As with most vaporizers the first hit off every bowl with the Vicod is very flavorful but not a lot of vapor is produced.

However on the 2nd to the 4th hits you can expect some pretty large clouds of vapor. (depending on what temperature your vaporizing at, around 385°F+ works great for bigger clouds)

Atmos did a good job designing the herb chamber in my opinion. Unlike with most herb pens, the Vicod vaporizes herbs very evenly and you will rarely need to re-position your herbs after a few hits.

Pro Tip #2 – My favorite temperature to use this vaporizer is between 375-380°F. At this temperature you get a great mix of taste while also getting decently large clouds of vapor, which is something I aim for when selecting my vaping temperature.

Ease of Use

The Vicod is one of the simplest vaporizers I’ve ever used. All you need to do to start vaporizing is press the power button and select your desired temperature using the (-) and (+) buttons on the front of the unit.

The heat up time on this portable is pretty quick at around 1 and a half minutes depending on which temperature you select. The higher the temperature, the longer it will take to heat up.

Conclusion

The Atmos Vicod is a very good option for anybody looking for a portable herbal vaporizer. I would highly recommend this product to anybody in the market for a new herbal vaporizer. It’s impressive battery life, and vapor quality set it apart from other vaporizers around it’s price point.

The Vicod retails for only $109.99 and for that price is more than worth it by my standards. I’ve spent a lot more for vaporizers and gotten a lot less in terms of performance and build quality. This vaporizer outshines all other vaporizers around the 110$ price point that I’ve tried, and even out performs some of the more expensive portables I’ve tried.

Source Orb 4 Review

Looking for a concentrate pen that packs a punch?

The Source Orb 4 might just be for you.

The Source Orb 4 is a new vape pen made by Source Vapes. They have been tweaking this model over the years to perfect this wax vape pen. This concentrate pen comes with 6 different atomizers to choose from, making it an extremely versatile and functional unit.

Check out our unboxing/review video!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TRNDNE143k

Design

The Source Orb 4 looks and feels very similar to other models like the Source Orb XL. However, as I said, it comes with 6 different atomizers that all have their benefits. Besides the array of atomizers, Source was kind enough to provide the consumer with a dab tool, a dab container, as well as a microfiber cloth.

The different atomizers include:

  • 3 Titanium Double Coil atomizers
  • 1 Titanium Coil-less Atomizer
  • 1 Ceramic Coil-less Atomizer
  • 1 Ceramic Double Coil atomizers

All of these atomizers perform quite well! I myself am a big fan of the coil-less atomizers as I find they produce a more flavorful vapor compared to most Coil style atomizers.

Coil-Less atomizers are a truly unique way of vaporizing and offer much better vapor quality than traditional coil atomizers. This is because a disc-style atomizer makes it easier to evenly spread out your concentrate along the heating surface.

However the coil atomizers, specifically the Titanium ones are great for producing massive clouds of vapor if that’s more your style. When using the titanium atomizer it can almost be compared to a dab in the sense that it knocks you on your ass and gives you the full effect from your wax or concentrates.

I personally really enjoy vaporizing with the ceramic coils, as I find they produce a very enjoyable and clean tasting vapor. If you’ve never vaporized with a ceramic coil before it is definitely something you should try for yourself.

Vapor Quality

The Source Orb 4 has excellent vapor quality, and some atomizers produce better tasting vapor than others. Experimentation is key when it comes to the Orb 4 as individual tastes vary. Remember, titanium is for best for cloud production and ceramic is best for flavor and smoothness.

In my opinion, if you’re going for flavor, you’ll want to use either the ceramic double coil atomizer or the ceramic coil-less atomizer as they both produce very clean tasting vapor. If your somebody who enjoys getting massive rips, any of the Titanium atomizers will work great for you, as they produce huge clouds of vapor.

Battery Life

The battery life on the Orb 4 is quite impressive especially considering its size. This vaporizer has a decently small battery size wise, however, you should easily get over 2 hours of battery life per charge.

It has quite an impressive battery, as most vaporizers made by Source Vapes tend to have. They are known for producing vape pens that have battery lives that betray their small stature. To charge the battery fully from dead it takes about three hours.

Ease of Use

The Source Orb 4 is a truly simplistic and convenient little vape pen. To use it is as simple as pressing the power button 5 times, then holding it down to cycle the atomizer. Heat up time is approximately 3 seconds, meaning you have to wait very little time from pack to punch.

It’s also very simple to switch from one atomizer to another with ease. They screw on and off very easily allowing you to go between atomizers on the fly depending on how you’re feeling.

Pros

  • This vape pen is quite portable and is a solid option for use on the go
  • It comes with 6 different atomizers, depending on your vaporizing preference
  • The battery life is very good compared to most vape pens
  • Source Vapes hook you up with a couple of goodies such as a dab container and a dab tool
  • The charge time is pretty quick at under 2 hours from dead to full charge
  • Source guarantees all of their batteries with a lifetime warranty
  • Magnetic lock means no threads to get gunked-up by consistent use

Cons

  • Since the unit is metal, certain parts do get a bit warm which is expected with most vape pens
  • The metal construction means that it is heavier than most vape pens of similar size

Conclusion

If you’re looking for solid a wax vape pen for around 100$, I would highly recommend the Source Orb 4 by Source Vapes. This product has everything I look for in a wax vape pen. The 6 atomizers give you tons of freedom to vaporize your concentrates exactly to your liking. It has quickly become one of my favorite vaporizers, and might very well be the best concentrate vape pen I’ve ever tried.

Do I Recommend the Source Orb 4?

Without hesitation, I highly recommend the Source Orb 4 to any stoner looking for an incredible wax pen. This vaporizer outperforms all other concentrate pens I’ve tried to date in vapor quality as well as battery life, thanks to the sub-ohm battery included with the kit.

The fact that this vape comes with 6 different atomizers is, in my opinion, the biggest selling point. It comes with 2 coil-less atomizers which both provide for excellent vapor quality, especially the ceramic one. It also comes with a couple of double-coil atomizers which deliver massive clouds and the hit off of the titanium one can be compared to dabbing on an e-nail!

If you need a concentrate vaporizer pen that delivers impressive vapor quality, that can also deliver massive clouds, the Source Orb 4 is perfect for you.

Kandypens Gravity Review

Kandypens Gravity Review:
A Unique Wax Vape Pen

Written by: Taylor | Updated: March 15th, 2019

I was originally very excited to get my hands on it, as I’ve always been something of an aficionado for wax products. This vape pen features a quartz chamber with a double quartz atomizer as well as a ceramic disc atomizer (coil free). It’s a truly unique vaporizer pen, although now many different options in wax vaporizers exist. I’m going to explain why the Gravity excels in its class.

I’ve tried countless concentrate vape pens over the past few years, and normally I’m extremely disappointed. The Kandypens Gravity is unlike any concentrate pen I’ve tried to date. It’s very rare that I find a concentrate pen that does what it’s supposed to do, which is vaporize. Most concentrate vapes combust your material, however with the Gravity this is simply not the case no matter how hard you try.

Looking for a concentrate vape pen that delivers excellent vapor quality?

(yes, they exist)

Look no further.

The Gravity by Kandypens is a wax vaporizer pen that came out in 2016.

I've owned it for over 2 years and it's still one of my favorite vape pens to this day.

Sleek Look & Design

The Gravity looks similar to most vape pens other than it’s unique mouthpiece which I am a huge fan of, it has a very regal feel to it. On top of that, KandyPens has taken measures to avoid that “clogged” feeling a user may get while drawing by adding an additional airflow hole to the mouthpiece.

It's very similar to a hookah mouthpiece and I personally think it is a nice change from the standard mouthpiece that most vape pens have.

The Kandypens Gravity is slightly smaller than most vape pens I’ve tried however it goes to show that size isn’t everything, it packs quite a punch and only has the parts you’d need. It’s small enough to easily fit in your pocket, and is now one of my go to vapes if I’m looking to vaporize concentrates while out and about.

Excellent Vapor Quality

The Gravity has very impressive vapor quality compared to other wax pens I’ve tried. The double quartz coil provides for very enjoyable vapor every time! I’m a big fan of this vaporizer for it’s vapor production. The hits are so flavorful and it delivers quite large clouds of vapor especially for a vape pen.

The quartz coil provides a much larger cloud of vapor compared to the ceramic disc, as well as better heat potential and heat production. I’ve actually managed to get a last hit out of this thing while the battery was off due to the quartz staying hot. The included ceramic atomizer still has its uses however, as when I’m using a less quality concentrate I notice I’m able to salvage some goop left over for another session, the ceramic disc atomizer also tends to produce tastier hits of vapor at the expense of these hits being smaller in general.

This vaporizer has 4 different heat settings, which is unusual for a concentrate vape pen. It allows the user to vaporize concentrates at his or her desired temperature. It’s important to note that most concentrate vape pens do not allow the user to control the temperature, they normally only allow you to vaporize at a pre-set temperature. This is one of the main reasons I’m a big fan of this vape pen.

2 Different Atomizers

The Gravity comes with 2 different atomizers for the the user to choose from. The one on the left is a coil-less ceramic atomizer and the one on the right is a double quartz coil atomizer.

Both of these atomizers perform very well, with my personal favorite being the Quartz rod, but individual tastes vary.

Pro Tip #1 – The ceramic coil-less atomizer is perfect if you’re looking for smooth, tasty hits of vapor. The quartz double coil is better if your looking for massive hits of vapor!

Solid Battery Life

The battery life of the Gravity is really good for a vape pen. You can can get roughly one and a half to two hours of battery life per charge. I personally think this is really good compared to most vape pens. I’d translate this into approximately 100 draws before the battery is dead.

One thing that’s pretty cool about this vaporizer is that the battery will last longer if you vaporize at the lowest temperature setting. Since most vape pens only come with one temperature setting, they often die in under an hour of usage. The Gravity out performs most, if not all other vaporizer pens I’ve tried when it comes to battery life.

Pros

  • This vape pen delivers amazing vapor quality
  • It comes with two different atomizers
  • The battery life is very solid for a pen vaporizer
  • It comes with 4 heat settings

Cons

  • Vaporizer requires priming before use, meaning the user has to hold the button for a moment before inhaling to allow the concentrate time to begin vaporizing

Do I Recommend The Gravity?

100%!

The Gravity is one of the best pen vaporizers I’ve ever used. Its excellent vapor quality sets it apart from other models I’ve tried. Not to mention it comes packed with 4 different temperature settings as opposed to just 1. It’s rare to see multiple settings on a vape pen. I enjoy the first two settings the most when it comes to enjoyable vapor, but the last two settings will never put you at the risk of combustion.

This is an excellent pick up if your in the market for a new concentrate vaporizer pen. We’ve also got a bunch of other vaporizer reviews at imarijuanit.com to help our readers find the perfect vaporizer.
