This isn't something you buy and think "Eh, big whoop," because it whoops you in the ass more than much else. Another great desktop vaporizer is none other than the Vapir Rise 2.0. It is compatible with both bags and whip attachments and is one of the more affordable desktop vaporizers that aims to provide as close to the Volcano experience as it can without draining your wallet.

Despite it's simple sleek design, the Vapir Rise 2.0 is very effective. You can easily adjust the temperature to your liking to reach your optimum degree and the temperature controls are very accurate.
Like the Volcano, it heats up quite quickly. A major downfall of the previous model was that the built-in fan could not be turned off independently from the heater. However this has been modified for the Rise 2.0.
The temperature controls are easy to get the hang of and I find the temperature stays very consistent which can be an issue with desktop vaporizers. My only gripe with the temperature system is that the Vapir Rise does not get any hotter than 420°F but that's approaching combustion temperature so maybe its for the best.
At the end of the day, the Vapir Rise 2.0 is in my opinion the best all around vaporizer when all aspects like vapor quality, durability, and price are factored in. They probably could tack on an extra $50 to the price tag and it'd still be a fair price for what you get.

In comparison to the majority of desktop vaporizers, the Silver Surfer heats up rather quickly and provides great tasting vapor due to it's ceramic heating unit.
It produces huge clouds of tasty and enjoyable vapor with it being extremely difficult to not be satisfied by the end of a twenty minute session. The experience of using it is made even greater by the fact that it's price won't break the bank.
The price has been going down over the years, and I'm ashamed to say its much cheaper now than when I bought it. Being ahead of the pack comes at a premium, I suppose.

I’ve been waiting a long time to publish this review. I’ve owned this vaporizer for over 2 years now, and it works just at good as the day I bought it (I take good care of it).

The Extreme Q is very lightweight, which is ideal if you want to take advantage of the separate power pack for portability.
The outside of the unit stays cool regardless of how long it’s left on thanks to it’s heat resistant body which encases the ceramic heating element.
Ease of Use
The Extreme Q is very easy to use, even if you’ve never owned a vaporizer before. It comes complete with it’s own remote control which is handy since it allows the user to control the device from several feet away instead of having to get up and actually adjust the device.
It’s easy to set up and use, and has simple user-friendly controls. I highly doubt anyone reading this will ever need to open up the owners manual that comes with it.

The vapor quality from this device is very impressive, especially since it’s possible to use balloons or whips to vaporize. Both systems allow for excellent vapor with good flavor and consistency that should satisfy even the most demanding vape connoisseur.
It also features numerous parts that are made from glass, which provides excellent tasting vapor. However it should be noted that they also tend to get hot during use and are also pretty fragile, so it’s important to take extra care.
The temperatures range from 122°F up to 500°F, and features a speedy ceramic heating element, which allows the unit to heat up in only a few minutes.
Pro Tip – My favorite temperature to use the Extreme Q is between 375–385°F. I found this temperature produced the best tasting vapor, while still delivering nice clouds of vapor.

Maintenance
One issue with the glass parts of the Extreme Q is that they do tend to gum up very easily and this means that frequent cleaning is required. This is not the lowest maintenance device out there, however it’s pretty much the same story with all desktop vaporizers on the market.
Discreetness
The Arizer Extreme Q is a desktop device and is therefore never going to be the most discreet device on the market since isn’t really designed with this in mind.
However it does have the appearance of a standard household appliance, which makes it more discreet when on a shelf at home than many other home desktop vaporizers which are much more obvious.

I first purchased the V Tower back in 2016, so I've had lots of time to test it thoroughly.
The Arizer V Tower is hands down the best "whip style vaporizer" on the market as far as I'm concerned.
The only desktop that out performs the V Tower is its bigger brother, the Extreme Q.
At around $100, its one of the cheapest desktops currently available.
Now lets get into the review...
How Does It Work?
Just like the better known Extreme Q, the V Tower is well designed but comes with a much lower price tag than its older brother. It's very pretty lightweight and much smaller than other desktop vaporizers I've tried. It has a very slick appearance for extra visual appeal on the coffee table, and it comes in an attractive silver color.
Although the Extreme Q and V Tower look very similar, however there are a number of key differences between them.
First off, the V Tower does not allow for balloon vaping, with only whip vaping as an option. This is one of the main drawbacks in my opinion.
This means it isn't quite as versatile as its big brother. There is also no forced fan or remote control, however the price difference makes the V Tower a better option if you're on a budget. You'll get solid value for your money, and in my opinion for the price there aren't many desktops that compare.
It is pretty easy to fill the cyclone bowl, and all of the glass components fit flawlessly together. The glass ensures no unpleasant aftertastes, although it can be fragile so care must be taken when assembling the device. Unfortunately, there is no remote control but for its price point, I can't complain.

When it comes to maintenance and cleaning, this device is pretty low maintenance compared to other desktops on the market. It comes apart very easily for cleaning. Be careful when disassembling the unit, as the sticky vapor residue can make the glass stick together and using too much force can result in damage to the unit.

Producing excellent quality of vapor, the Arizer V Tower comes with an inclusive whip for drawing the vapor. The consistency of flavor is very good and the taste is excellent thanks to the glass components and quality ceramic heating element as there are no impurities to contaminate the flavor.
Tip #1 - I recommend using a grinder to finely grind your herbs. Using finely ground material will provide for a better vaporizing experience. You'll receive smoother hits, better flavor and bigger vapor clouds if you finely grind your herbs.
The flexible temperature controls ensure that it is speedy and simple to adjust the vaporizing temperature to the accurate level. The digital display is very accurate enabling the user to set their temperature to the nearest degree while several sensors ensure that the display accurately reflects the temperature of the device. Performance is excellent at both high and low heat settings and the range is 122°F – 500°F.
However I found the temperature under 400°F produces the best result, since anything higher and you risk combustion.

The Vaporite Solo is a whip style desktop vaporizer that is beyond affordable. This vaporizer retails for only 84.99$, and I’ll be honest my expectations we’re quite low for this vaporizer due to it’s low price point.
I’m happy to say my expectations were shattered and I was blown away with the quality of this vaporizer. While it might be one of the cheapest vaporizer on the market, it certainly isn’t a low quality product at all.
Vaporite is a company that is known for producing quality vaporizers and selling them at beyond reasonable prices. The Solo is no different than any of their previous models as far as quality goes, and long story short, this thing rocks!
Look & Design
The Solo comes in two different styles, one style features a dial to control the temperature. While the other comes with a remote control and the temperature can also be controlled by using the 2 buttons on the front of the vaporizer. On both models you are able to finely tune the temperature to your exact preference and you can read the temperature on the digital display.
The heat up time on the Solo is decently quick. It heats up in roughly a minute and a half which is quite fast in my opinion.
The Vaporite Solo out perform all other whip style vaporizers I’ve tried to date. The taste and quality of the vapor is better than most desktops on the market.
Vapor Quality
The vapor production on the Solo is incredible and by far it’s best quality. You are able to get some huge clouds from this vaporizer, and the flavor is amazing. I personally find the best temperature to use the Solo is at around 385°F. At this temperature you are able to get very smooth tasting hits, and also get good sized clouds of vapor!
The vaporizer comes with 4 preset temperatures but you also have full control over the temperature as well if none of them suit your fancy.
One thing I will say is that if you set the temperature over 410°F, the clouds you can get are pretty massive! The vapor production on this vaporizer is absolutely ridiculous.
Conclusion
I would highly recommend the Vaporite Solo to anybody looking to a high quality, cost effective desktop vaporizer. This vaporizer is only $84.99 for the regular version of $99.99 for the version with the remote control. Both are well worth the money and I personally don’t think you can go wrong for under 100$.
The Solo outperforms most of the desktop vaporizers I’ve tried, even some of the more expensive models on the market believe it or not! It’s vapor production and it’s ability to vaporize herbs evenly, makes it a solid option for anybody looking for a desktop vape.

Since picking up the Vaporite Solo, it quickly became one of my go to vaporizers when I’m vaporizing at home. The Life Saber vaporizer is a new handheld desktop vaporizer that is truly one of a kind. I was very excited to get my hands on this unique new product and give it my honest review!
Performance
One of the biggest things this vaporizer has going for it is it’s ability to conserve herbs. It is very efficient in this regard, and I am often surprised at how little herbs are required when using this vape. Believe it or not, with as little as a 0.2g of ground herbs you can easily get upwards of 10 draws.
Hopefully that gives you an idea of the efficiency of this vaporizer.
Look & Design
It is a similar style of vaporizer to the Plenty by Storz & Bickel in that it is a desktop, but is still a handheld unit.
One interested thing about the LSV is that it’s made mostly out of glass. This provides for unreal vapor quality and a clean taste.
The only thing I’m not a big fan of about the glass design is that you need to be decently careful while using this vaporizer. It is pretty durable for the most part but the fact that some parts are made of glass means you’ll want to treat this vaporizer with care.
Vapor Quality
The vapor quality on the Life Saber vaporizer is phenomenal. It’s glass air path provides for a very clean tasting vapor. I am a huge fan of this vaporizer for it’s vapor production, as it delivers some of the best tasting vapor I’ve ever tried.
Another interested thing about this product is that while with most vapes you need to wait until the second hit to get the full effect, while with the LSV you will get a massive hit right off the first draw.
One thing I’m not big on is that the temperature knob doesn’t tell you what temperature your vaporizing at. You have to adjust it and find the temperature setting that works for you. That being said, once you find a setting that you like, you can set it for next time.

I am a huge fan of the Life Saber vaporizer, I truly think this unique vaporizer is perfect for anybody looking for a desktop unit that is affordable and provides a comparable vapor quality to higher end models.

I was very excited to check out this vaporizer for myself to see if it would live up to all of the hype. It’s quite an expensive vaporizer and retails for $699.99!
I’m pleased to say it lived up to my expectations. It might just be the best vaporizer I’ve ever tried…

Appearance
The Herbalizer has a unique look to it. As you can see by the image, it has a bubble design, which opens up to display the chamber and temperature controls.
The Herbalizer has a digital temperature display that is very user friendly. It has a very stylish design and its temperature display is appealing to the eye.
I was blown away by the build quality of the Herbalizer. Needless to say this vaporizer doesn’t feel cheap at all, mostly because it isn’t. It feels solid and appears to made of very high quality materials
Features
This desktop is a dual function vaporizer which means it can be used with either herbs or concentrates. It also has the added feature of being used as an aromatherapy device to disperse different scents throughout a room or it can also be used to hot box a small room (Pro Tip: The smaller the area the more effective it will be).
Another really great feature of this vaporizer that sets it apart from the other vaporizers I’ve reviewed, is its insanely quick heat up time. With most desktop vapes that I’ve tried it typically takes anywhere from one to two minutes to heat up, while the Herbalizer heats up in just 5-10 seconds. Ease of Use
The Herbalizer is one of the most marvelously user friendly vaporizers I’ve ever gotten my hands on. It’s as easy as turning the vaporizer on, packing a bowl, pressing the “Vaportherapy” mode, and selecting your desired temperature (it will remember the previous temperature you used). Ten seconds later your unit will be ready for use.
Vapor Quality
Where the Herbalizer really shines is its vapor quality. The vapor production of the Herbalizer unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
Whether you use it with the whip or bag attachment, you will be amazed by the vapor quality this vaporizer consistently produces.
It is on a whole other level than any other desktop I’ve ever used including the Volcano or even the HerbalAire. That really is saying something, as dethroning the Volcano does not come easy.
Another thing that’s great about this product is the super precise temperature control. The temperature accuracy on the Herbalizer is superb.

Do I recommend The Herbalizer?
If you are somebody who is looking for the highest performing vaporizer available, this product is for you. Out of all of the vaporizers I’ve ever had the pleasure of testing and reviewing, the Herbalizer out performs by leaps and bounds.
The vapor quality is unlike any other vaporizer I’ve ever owned and the taste you are able to get is simply incredible.
I’m a big fan of using this vaporizer both with the bag attachment and the whip attachment, and the vapor production is awesome with both of them. I often find using the quality of the Herbalizer as a benchmark to compare against other desktop vapes.
The Herbalizer has the fastest heat up time of any vaporizer I’ve ever tried. You can turn it on, select your temperature and it will be ready to use in under 10 seconds. I’ve personally never owned a vaporizer that comes anywhere close, and I’d say around the 1 minute mark would be an average heat up time for most products of this type.
The company claims that the temperature accuracy is more accurate than any other vape on the market, since they put the sensor directly on the heating chamber. While I never actually tested this claim by using a temperature gauge or anything concrete, I will say that it seems to be very accurate from what I can tell.
Pro Tip #1 – My favorite temperature to use the Herbalizer is 375°F. At this temperature you are able to get large clouds of vapor while still getting great vapor quality and flavor. It’s a good temperature if your looking for smooth tasty hits of vapor.

The H3 has a unique looking design, yet it does look similar to past herbalAire models such as the H2.2.
The H3 is a whip style vaporizer but also has the ability to fill bags of vapor with its forced air system.
This vaporizer stacks up well compared to more expensive desktop models such as the Super Surfer or even the Volcano.
Vapor Quality
The H3 blows many of the other desktops on the market out of the water when it comes to vapor quality. This unit delivers massive amounts of vapor and the flavor is exceptional due to the precise temperature control. The vapor production of the H3 is unmatched for this price. I’ve yet to find a desktop at this price point that compares to the herbalAire H3. This thing rips.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect when I received my Super Surfer. I wasn’t sure it would live up to all of the hype I’d heard about it online, luckily for me, I was pleasantly surprised by what came in that box.
I’m very happy to say that after using this vaporizer for quite some time now, it’s lived up to all of the hype. The Super Surfer is an amazing vaporizer and in my opinion is a big step up from the original Silver Surfer, or even Da Buddha.
Design
The Super Surfer has a very nice look to it. Made from stainless steel, it resembles the Silver Surfer but it is slightly larger and also much more stylish if you ask me. It is one of the best looking desktop vaporizers currently on the market today. Included with the vaporizer is one plastic whip measuring 3′ in length (mouthpiece included), one 10′ roll of food grade plastic bags, a glass bag sleeve, ground glass wand, 19 to 19 ground glass adapter, sit clip, aromatherapy top, replacement filter screens, as well as many other goodies. It actually impressed me how much thought 7th Floor put into their accessories included with the device, all of their bases were covered when it comes to what’s in the box. It’s only available in one color which is Silver, of course. This desktop vape is not equipped with an LED temperature readout, temperature is selected using a knob located at the front of the device, this knob is located on the left, the knob on the right controls the integrated fan allowing you to decide the rate at which vapor is delivered. An interesting addition to this vaporizer is LED mood lighting, allowing an unparalleled ambiance to be created when enjoying this vaporizer alone or with a group of friends. 7th Floor really outdid themselves with the addition of an air filtration system that will guarantee no particulate matter escapes the chamber to sully your experience.
Features
This vaporizer has all of the features of the standard SSV and has a forced air system, allowing for users to attach a bag and fill it with vapor, similar to the Volcano. It can also be used with the included three foot whip, allowing one to gorge themselves to their heart’s content in comfort. With a 90 second heat-up time, you won’t be waiting very long until you become inundated with some of the best vapor I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting.
The Super Surfer features a lighted base which comes with several lighting modes. It’s perfect for if you’re using it in a an environment with low lighting or want to create a setting conducive to relaxation.

Vapor Quality
I can’t say enough good things about the vapor production and also the quality of the vapor that the Super Surfer produces. This vaporizer out performs all other whip style desktop vaporizers I’ve tried, and blows the competition out of the water. This unit delivers massive clouds of smooth vapor, and it is very easy to fine tune the temperature to your liking, the temperature knob is sensitive to even a very minute adjustment.
Ease of Use
The Super Surfer is down right simple to use, no matter which way you choose to use it. There are three ways to utilize all this device has to offer: you can attach a bag to the Super Surfer and fill it with crisp, filtered vapor, or you can use the included whip to suck vapor right from the chamber on an as-needed basis. The Silver Surfer also allows you to use it as an aromatherapy device, all you have to do is place your essential oils on the aromatherapy top and put the top on the device. Whether you use it the traditional way with a whip or you want to use the forced air system. It’s pretty damn simple to figure out. The lack of LED screen may be a hindrance to some, but I find the simple design refreshing in an industry over-saturated with unnecessary features.
Conclusion
If you have the money to invest, I highly recommend this vaporizer and give it 2 thumbs way up, although I usually don’t particularly move around a lot after using this thing. There’s a reason this vape retails at $499, and you get what you pay for. The Super Surfer is one of the highest quality vaporizers I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. I highly recommend it if you’re looking to seriously invest in your home vaporizing experience, after buying this, you won’t need to look any further as to keeping yourself satisfied.

I finally got my hands on the Da Buddha by 7th Floor Vaporizers. I’m happy to say this vaporizer lived up to every expectation I had for it.
This desktop has a stylish look, and it functions even better than it looks. It is one of the best whip style vaporizers I’ve tried, and is very comparable to the Silver Surfer, which makes sense since their both made by 7th Floor Vapes.
The Da Buddha vaporizer is a low cost desktop but functions as well, if not better than some of the more expensive vaporizers on the market that I’ve tried. This vaporizer has been around for a while and 7th Floor Vapes has done a great job tweaking/perfecting it over the years

Design
The design of this vaporizer is similar to most whip style vaporizers. The unit is made of quality materials and overall feels very solid. The only complaint I really have is that the temperature control doesn’t display a temperature reading, which can be a bit annoying if you have a preferred temperature for vaping. It takes a little bit of playing around to figure out which temperature setting works best.
This vaporizer really reminds me of a simplified version of the Silver Surfer, but it performs just as well, and it’s much cheaper cost wise.

Vapor Quality
Compared to most whip style desktop vaporizers – Da Buddha knocks it right out of the park.
The vapor quality is unbelievable and you are able to get some great vapor production from this unit.
Pro Tip #1 – A good way to get some large hits from this vaporizer is by drawing slowly. You are able to get some massive clouds of vapor from this device when you draw slowly as opposed to taking quick, short puffs.
While Da Buddha doesn’t have a temperature display, finding the ideal temperature setting is quite simple with it’s built in dial. It only took me a few minutes into my first session to figure out roughly where I had to set the dial to get my desired mix between good taste and large clouds of vapor!
Pro Tip #2 – If you are first using this unit and you need to figure out which temperature works best for you, I would recommend setting the temperature dial directly in the middle for your first draw. If you find the hit is too harsh, you can turn the knob down a little bit to the left. Or if you find your not getting big enough clouds you can turn the temperature dial slightly to the right and keep adjusting as necessary. You’ll find the perfect temperature in no time!

They back all of their products with 3 year manufacturer warranty! While I’ve never dealt with them for any issues myself personally, after looking into their online reviews they appear to have great customer service!
I can however personally vouch for the fact that I’ve purchased 4 of their products over the past few years and have not had an issues with any of their vaporizers at all. One thing is for sure, 7th Floor only sells high vaporizers.
Things I LOVE About Da Buddha Vaporizer
This product has many things going for it and in my opinion there’s a lot of things that 7th Floor did really good when creating this vaporizer. The glass on glass heating chamber a really nice design and resembles that of a high quality glass down stem. It fits snugly in a very similar way as a bowl in a glass down stem.
The glass heating chamber provides for some amazing vapor quality unmatched by any other whip style vaporizer I’ve tried to date. This desktop unit has excellent vapor production and you are able to get some massive and flavorful clouds of vapor, depending on what setting you prefer to vaporizer at.
Da Buddha is also a very stylish looking vaporizer in my opinion and it’s one of the more “classy” looking vaporizers I own or that I’ve ever seen for that matter. Using Da Buddha feels like a truly sophisticated way to vaporize every time I use this product. The vapor quality is above average when compared to other whip style desktop vaporizers on the market.
Things I HATE About Da Buddha Vaporizer
So hate is a very strong word for my distaste of a certain quality of this vaporizer but I used the word “hate” to get your attention.
One of the main drawbacks to this vaporizer that I feel you should be well aware of before investing in this product is the fact that it doesn’t have a temperature display of any kind. This means you are unable to tell what the exact temperature you are vaporizing at.
The only way to find out which temperature works best for you is to play around with the position of the dial.
One thing I will say is that it’s pretty damn easy to figure out a good temperature that will work for you. It should only take you a few uses with Da Buddha to figure out a position of the temperature dial that suits your needs!
Another small complaint I had was that as I’m writing this review it only comes in black, silver or blue however all of the color styles look very classy in my opinion and I was notified by 7th Floor that they are supposed to be releasing new colors in the near future!
Conclusion
For under $200 you really can’t go wrong. I personally think they could be charging slightly more for this product due to it’s solid build quality.
The Da Buddha vaporizer feels and performs like it’s easily worth over $300+!
I’d highly recommend this product to anybody looking for a solid desktop vaporizer at a reasonable price.
It’s vapor production and stylish design in my opinion make it an amazing addition to any stoners arsenal!
